No Pics! How much do I suck?
The Knit-out in Oakland was great fun and a good time and much knitting was had by all. I loved seeing people come into the cafe and realize, as their eyes were traveling allll the way down the room, that the knitters had teken over the place! Hee!
I brought the girlchild, who was particularly enamoured of Celia's spit splicing technique. She said to me on the way home "Mom, that yarn chewing lady was really nice!"
Celia has a new fan! :)
I had bridal meetings for a good part of the day today. Tis the season when a LOT of people get engaged and are planning Summer weddings. Time for me to strike while the iron is hot. After two meetings I drove home and got some alone time with my hubby and also a nap! Wooohoo.
I awoke from my nap with one thought in my mind... CUPCAKES! Where the hell that came from I have no idea, but who am I to deny the cupcake muse.
The only ingredients I had in the house were for lemon cupcakes and chocolate frosting, which is a surprisingly yummy combination!
Not only do I have cupcakes (!!) but the season premiere of 24 is on tonight. I'm more excited than anyone has a right to be. Mmmmm! I adore Kiefer Sutherland. If I could get Kiefer Sutherland to talk dirty to me, I'd die a happy woman.
Of course I also think the same thing about that Dyson vaccum guy... so maybe I'm just a little twisted. but hey. It's my blog and I can say what I want! HEE!
