Flower Market Day

This was the gorgeous moon setting over the vineyards this morning at about 6:30, as I came back from the flower market.

Here are a few photos of some fall flowers for this weekends two weddings.

I've just been typing for the better part of an hour and damned Greymatter ate my blog post, and now I have to go to bed. Back tomorrow. Promise!

It's really starting to feel like Autumn around here. No one seems to have told this hopeful little morning glory plant I found today, hitching a ride in the pot with my mandevilla vine. A little bit of cool weather and this poor little thig will be a goner!

Fall weather makes me want to head into the kitchen and start cooking. My family members are big fans of soup in almost any form, and I am soaking beans right now for a tomato and white bean soup with chicken and rosemary. It's also time for pumpkin, and the kids have requested some pumpkin/chocolate chip muffins. I think I can manage that!

I'll also have some more baking to do later this week for the boychild's birthday. He wants to take ice cream cone cupcakes, similar to these, for his school treat on Friday. I just hope that I can get mine to look this good!
