Worst.Wife.Ever.

Ever have one of those nagging feelings that you've forgotten something? Well I sure did, all day yesterday. Until 9 last night, when finally, it dawned on me...

It's been a rough couple of weeks here. Lots of chaos, nothing life-threatening but just enough to wear one down to a brittle edge. We've had problems with both vehicles, a non-injury car accident, and all the ensuing sceheduling and financial headaches that go along with that. To make things more interesting, the kids have had plenty of extra activities going on, I've been completely brain fried, to say the least.

This is no excuse for FORGETTING MY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! Well... forgetting it until 9 p.m. on the anniversary itself. Same difference.
Oh my god, I am an idiot.

Of course, to add insult to injury, I was having an EXCEPTIONALLY cranky day yesterday. We argued, and I didn't even cook a proper dinner. I am sure the poor man was ready to run for the hills.
Clearly, I need a good thwack with a clue stick!

Tearful and profuse apologies have been flying at our house.

Sigh.
