Baking Day
Since all of my knitting projects are for gifts right now, No knitting pics. You'll just have to believe that I have been knitting. Frantically.
Here are a few pics of our baking day. (before my cam batteries gave out!)
We spent all day Sunday baking, and got a LOT done! I finished up the last of the baking marathon on Monday when the kids went to their bio-dad's house. Now to pack things up and mail them!
The girlchild, making pumpkin-chocolate chip bread. At age 10, she's already a pro in the kitchen. She says she wants to have her own cooking show someday!
P.S. You know that your child watches too much of the food network cooking shows when you catch her out at the fish pond, feeding the fish by tossing pinches of the fish food into the water and saying "BAM!" in a very enthusiastic voice. It was more like she was SEASONING them!
Here is the boychild making one of the kids favorite holiday recipes, Chex Muddy Buddies
Notice just how much powdered sugar this child is wearing? His shirt, his face, his hair... good thing kids are washable!
Just for my sister, pics of the chocolate-peppermint cookies!
And, a non-baking picture, but enough of an oddity that I have to post it!
This might just be our Christmas Miracle. The cats, sleeping together. (they HATE each other!)
Back soon! So much to do, so few days left before Christmas!
