Winter 2005!

This is one of my favorite parts of the site...a page where I can note some of the magnificent seasonal flowers I am lucky enough to work with, and to pass along some design notes from my studio.
The amazing variety of materials available here on the West coast makes it a joy and a pleasure to provide flowers for weddings and special events!

Miniature Calla Lilies

I'm very pleased that bright color palettes continue to be very popular for weddings! I have a wonderful supplier of these vibrant mini calla lilies and I hope to be able to use them in more weddings this year! They are a gorgeous, hardy, elegant looking flower for those seeking a modern and simple look. The supplier ships overnight to me from Ecuador, and the product is just stunning!

Tulips!

In the dark and dreary days of winter, we can always look forward to the magnificent flowers of Spring! Tulips have always been one of my favorite flowers and Spring weddings are always lovely when accented with an abundance of bulb flowers! These purple and lavender double tulips are paired with some velvety purple lisianthus, don't they make a striking combination?!

NEW! I have received so many requests about this huppah, that my husband, who designed and built it for me, is putting together a materials list and blueprint for building your own huppah frame. We will be offering the plans for sale in the next few weeks!
Each set of plans comes with some suggestions for adding fresh flowers, fabrics and your own personal touches to your huppah frame. I will have an ordering link with a paypal button on this site in the next few weeks!
